However I am not a stock size and cannot easily buy clothes off the peg. It would be interesting to see you dress someone like me who is a curvy mature lady who is only 4 ft 10in tall. I like fashion but need to dress for my age and height to make the best of my looks.

In response to:Do you want to be a Plus Size Model?

Hope to see more plus size model because currently not many beautiful full figured plus size model in fashion industry. The brand is Little in the Middle, and this jeans line caters to all sizes of women that have a curvy shape. One of the most interesting thing that it does; is that it is sized one size smaller in the waist than in the hips, so it eliminates that awful gap in the back of your jeans that let your rear end hang out while seated while offering a great fit. I think that this would be a great addition to your listing of jeans brands for future articles. www.Littleinthemiddle.com

I remember Gok has used an item from Matalan once, but perhaps not often... But the only advice I can give, and Gok would probably want me to give is, get insprired by what he shows! If he shows a blue top with red blouse, the blue top doesn't have to be of that particular store, just find a similar substiture in the shops you go to ;)

Other than that, I have been looking all over the internet to find the song he plays at his wardwrope make-over. It's that twinklely song... I love that! What is it called, does anyone know?

Thanks!!

In response to:Curvety on Goks Fashion Fix

Love the show in particular 24 item capsule wardrobe which, I find inspirational. Unfortunately, I am size 22,approaching 50 and was made redundant last year. Alas, I also have no man in my life.
As money is in short supply I rely on supermarket/matalan for my clothes and footwear. Please ask, beg my hero to encourage supermarkets and Matalan to extend and maintain better stocks of plus sizes.
Many thanks
She seems healthy enough to be taking the picture. Her flat stomach is enviable and im sure any curvy woman would want her stomach. Her behind is also quite perky. Overall she looks great!

In response to:Farewell Jade

I read your post, I just have a different view to you.
I am well aware that many people die of cancer. I personally have lost three close relatives to the horrid disease and almost lost my father and 21 year old sister in law, i am as aware as the next person how wide spread the disease is. This is exactly WHY I am happy that Jade has managed to raise the profile of cervical cancer in young women and is personally responsible for the increase in tests being taken which will ultimately save lives. Yes, she probably did have the best health care possible, but it didnt save her did it? Through her choice to be in the public eye she has saved lives, simple as that. I think that is something to celebrate - NOT to scorn.

In response to:Farewell Jade

There are approximately 150,000 deaths from cancer in the UK every year. That's over 400 a day. I can honestly say that Jade's death from it means no more to me than any of those others who died of it the same day. They are all sad, equally so, and Jade's no more than any of the others.

She was, however, far luckier than many of those others as she was able to afford the best healthcare possible. That is certainly not the case for most of the other 399 who died of cancer the same day without the asistance of huge wodges of cash.
If she's bottom heavy and/or wide hipped, then that's a big ol' YES, with a bullet. I guess the easiest rule of thumb is "if the button/snap is visible when standing naturally, then you are greenlight GO!" For what it's worth, I know less than nothing about fashion. I'm just a guy who knows what he likes.

In response to:Top 3 Curvy Celebs of 2008

It's Adele.
I was asking a friend of my daughter's what does she uses on her face and she showed me some wrinkle cream reviews from which she found the best anti-aging cream for her. Just pay attention to all the people who are currently against weight discrimination. The world is changing and self-destructive lifestyles are fading to give way to deeper forms of beauty.
